Our Fundraisers

To return money to the community first we have to raise it. Whilst our members contribute some cash we raise the bulk of our funds through fundraising projects.

	Soapbox Derby Our major fundraiser is the annual Soapbox Derby and this is a winner with everyone involved. It is is an ideal opportunity to bring businesses and schools together, with an element of fun and education, to the benefit of the local community This event is run on the 3rd Sunday of March in Westgate Drive.
	Golf Our second popular event is our annual Don Page Memorial Golf Tournament. We usually include some "different" holes. In 2009 one of the holes required golfers to tee off... from their knees. This led to a lot of laughter and some great video!
