Welcome to the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) 2005

Young people attend the RYLA who have been recognized as current and future leaders within their own communities. Local Rotary Clubs have sponsored these youngsters to develop leadership skills and qualities.

The Rotary Club of Waitakere City was their host for the week, and throughout the week the youngsters mett many of its members. The Club had organized a stimulating and challenging programme that emphasizes leadership skills, personal development and citizenship. They had the opportunity to listen and interact with top achievers in their fields and to participate in group activities, workshops and discussion. On top of that they had time to make many new friends.
